Zvani Cookie Notice
Effective Date: May 7, 2026
What does this Cookie Notice cover?
This Cookie Notice explains how Zvani (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and other similar technologies on our website, dashboard, and APIs (the “Service”), as well as in our emails. It also outlines your choices for managing these cookies.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on our broader privacy practices.
What types of technologies does Zvani use?
We may use any or all of the following technologies on our Service and in our emails:
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that may be placed on your browser or in the storage on your device. There are two types:
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you remove them.
Both Zvani and trusted third-party service providers may set cookies via our Service (sometimes called “third-party cookies”).
Pixel tags
A pixel tag is a small, transparent image that can recognize certain types of data on your device, similar to how cookies do. They help us measure email engagement (e.g., whether you opened a transactional email) and product usage. Pixels may collect time, location, and operating-system data related to the device you use.
Other similar technologies
We may also use HTML5 local storage and similar mechanisms (which store relevant data locally on your device) for the purposes described in this Cookie Notice.
Why do we use cookies and similar technologies?
The purposes for which we use these technologies include:
- Strictly necessary: essential for the Service to function — for example, authenticating you, maintaining your session, balancing traffic, and protecting against abuse. These cannot be disabled.
- Functionality: remembering preferences such as the workspace you last switched to, sidebar state, and theme.
- Analytics: understanding how customers interact with the dashboard so we can improve the product. For example, we may use Google Analytics. Learn more about how Google uses data here: google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
- Service messaging: measuring whether you opened a transactional email (billing alert, security notice, deploy update) so we can re-send if needed.
Zvani is a B2B product. We do not place advertising cookies and we do not run third-party advertising on the dashboard.
How can you manage your consent?
- You can manage cookies in your browser’s settings — delete existing cookies, block specific sites, or block all cookies. Note that disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the Service from working.
- Pixel tags in emails can often be blocked by configuring your email client to block external images or to display “plain text only” emails.
- To learn more about cookies and how to manage / delete them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
Changes to this Cookie Notice
Information about the cookies and similar technologies we use may be updated from time to time, so please check this Cookie Notice regularly. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard or by email.
